Dr. Tim Elmore Keynote Speaker

DR. TIM ELMORE is the founder and president of Growing Leaders. Through Growing Leaders, Elmore and his team teach middle school, high school, and college students the skills they need to become authentic leaders.


Gerry Brooks Keynote Speaker

Brooks has been an educator for 20 years. He has since gained experience as an intervention specialist and administrator, including 12 years as an elementary principal. After using humorous videos to encourage his staff, Brooks has become a nationally known encourager for teachers.


Mike Goodwin Banquet Entertainment

Mike Goodwin is a refreshingly funny comedian, speaker, and humor coach. His signature bowtie represents his expectation-defying brand of comedy that leaves a variety of audiences laughing hysterically and completely inspired, without a foul or vulgar word spoken.

  • Join Lutheran education colleagues from around the world for a day of exploration, education, and inspiration as we consider the many models, challenges, and opportunities for Christian education in a Lutheran context available in today's diverse and changing global settings.

  • "You Belong! - Fostering a Sense of Belonging in All Students"
    Jessica Raba, Long Island Lutheran Administrator, will lead this engaging workshop that will provide participants with key takeaways to create true belonging in all students. Creating a sense of belonging in students is essential for their emotional well-being, academic success, and overall school experience. Dr. Steve Gerner, Executive Director of The Center for Urban Education Ministries (www.cuemnational.org), will assist with this presentation, adding insights to this vital topic. This workshop will offer many opportunities for participants to engage in small group discussions and dynamic activities.
    Come join us to enjoy breakfast and a collective learning experience.

Volunteer Opportunity



An official photographer and a video crew are on duty throughout the Convocation. The photographs and recorded images are the property of Lutheran Education Association and may be used during the Convocation, for future publicity materials, or for other projects. Participants automatically accept this policy upon registration.

Refund Policy
Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the LEA office according to the following schedule:
- Through August 29, 2025 - Full refund
- After August 29 and through September 15, 2025 - 50%
     - After September 15 - No refund

Hotel Reservations
Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with the hotel/housing link to book your room.
